SCENIC TOUR

A short ride on a century-old funicular train will take us to the cliff-side terrace in Igeldo, a great vantage point where we will enjoy breathtaking views over the ocean and Kontxa Bay. We will have time to walk around and take some pictures, or just to take in the seascape.

The Wind Comb, a group of sculptures by the international artist Chillida, is located in a dramatic natural setting at the foot of the mountain. The spectacular artwork of this Donostia-born sculptor is one of the best known features of the cityscape.

Not far from here, we will take a step back in time to the 19th century by making a pleasant walk through the gardens surrounding the Miramar Palace, a mansion which was originally built as a summer residence for Queen María Cristina. A lovely spot overlooking the bay.

Afterwards we will walk along Kontxa beach to reach the Old Town, the best place to finish off our tour with a tasty bite paired with your favourite wine.

Price: 75€ / person, 2 person minimum. Individuals: 120€.

Includes: guided tour, transportation (car), funicular tickets and pintxo tasting (one pintxo and one drink per person: wine, beer, cider or water).
