Pintxo crawl for foodies in the heart of the Old Town, a must-do in Donostia

There is nothing like a morning stroll through the food market hall to discover the best local produce, which forms the backbone of Basque Haute Cuisine and its renowned miniature creations: the mouth-watering pintxos. When in season, goose barnacles, oysters, anglerfishes or baby eels stand alongside Tolosa black beans, organic Eusko Label T‑bone steaks or the traditional txistorra.

In this city, where people attach great importance to gastronomy, pintxo tasting is a ritual, a way to socialize: friends and families meet up in bars to have a drink and grab a bite. We too, we will go bar hopping in carefully selected establishments, so that you will learn how to order pintxos cooked on the spot, what to choose… as we do. We will share a good time while enjoying good Rioja or Txakoli wines and savouring delicious little snacks in a relaxed atmosphere.

This tour focuses on gastronomy, however, brief explanations about culture and history will be given too.
