Discover other pintxo routes in Donostia. You can taste delicious pintxos beyond the Old Town, too. There are plenty of top-notch bars just a stone's throw away.

Go organic. Once a week, lively food markets take place in Basque towns and villages, offering high quality farm products. The renowned Idiazabal cheese, wild funghi, escargots, locally grown vegetables and other seasonal produce are displayed on colorful stalls.

Taste our txakoli, Getariako Txakolina, the young, zesty and slightly sparkling Basque white wine, produced on the green rolling hills of the coastal town of Getaria.

Have a different lunch. Enjoy the tranquility of nature while having a picnic on the grass without leaving the city. San Sebastián has several large hidden parks where you will come across manor houses, ponds, pretty grottos and shaded areas.

Charming villages. Take a stroll through the picturesque inland villages scattered among valleys and mountains. Many of them still keep alive their deep-rooted traditions and the countryside way of life.
